American Sail Training Association (ASTA) is a national 501c (3) non-profit organization based in Newport, that represents nearly 250 Tall Ships and Sail organizations around the country. The primary focus of our organization is teaching American youth the values of sailing and its impact on growing their character, learning team building, and developing leadership qualities.  ASTA also sponsors the annual "Tall Ships Challenge Series" that take place every year in host cities on the East Coast, West Coast, Great Lakes and soon the Caribbean. Bradford Printing and Finishing is a privately held Textile Finishing Plant.  Established in 1911 as a commissioned dyer and printer, Bradford Printing is housed in over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Bradford’s primary production commitment is to the Military / Gov. Spec. sectors, and is the longest running producer of BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) fabrics to the U.S. Dept. of Defense. The Entertainment Software Associatio (ESA) is the U.S. association exclusively dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of companies that publish computer and video games for video game consoles, personal computers, and the Internet. The ESA offers a range of services to interactive entertainment software publishers including a global anti-piracy program, business and consumer research, government relations and intellectual property protection efforts. The ESA also owns and operates the E3 Expo.

ER Card is a women-owned organization, incorporated in 1999 in the State of Rhode Island. Its primary service offered is the ER Card, a personal medical information and record management service. This service gives doctors and caregivers access to all necessary medical history and information about the patient that is needed to provide the best possible health care. ER Card logo
John E. Fogarty Center is a private, nonprofit organization based in North Providence, Rhode Island that supports nearly 300 adults with developmental disabilities. The main facility in North Providence supports approximately 100 individuals daily, as does the Work Center in Johnston. The Picillo Community Center in North Providence supports approximately 50 older adults daily, as well as 54 infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers in the Alphabet Soup Childcare Program. The Fogarty Center also offers off-site services and living arrangements to adults with developmental disabilities throughout Rhode Island.  The residential program provides a broad array of living arrangements to approximately 125 adults who live independently, with their families, or reside in group homes. In many instances the Fogarty Center provides 24-hour staff coverage.  This support promotes independence and enhances the quality of life for individuals and their families.  Fogarty Center logo

The Groden Network
In 1976, Drs. June and Gerald Groden opened the Groden Center in response to the absence of maximally effective services for persons with autism and other developmental challenges. Thirty years later, the program has expanded its services to children, teens, and adults with a range of learning and behavioral disabilities through four corporations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including The Groden Center and the Cove Center. The Groden and Cove Centers comprise the largest provider of services in Rhode Island for children and adults with autism. Together, the Network supports over 1,000 families each year in a broad range of individualized services, employing over 500 professional and trained staff in four day and 19 residential facilities. The array of services provided by the Network reflects a continuum of supports to meet the needs of its consumers throughout their lives.

Middletown Economic Development Advisory Committee (MEDAC) was originally established in 1991 and was reorganized on April 7, 2003 by a Town Council resolution as the main economic development implementation and planning body for the Town. The MEDAC's mission is to foster and promote economic development by enhancing the Aquidneck Corporate Park's business capacity to assist in studying and promoting the growth of the defense-related industry on Aquidneck Island; and to assist in an education partnership for an Aquidneck Island School for Science and Technology. PACE Organization of RI
PACE is an innovative model of care that enables eligible seniors to remain in their own communities rather than being placed in long-term care facilities. As the only stand-alone, not for profit health program of its kind in Rhode Island, the program has enrolled clients that live in all regions of the state. For years, PACE has helped serve Rhode Island’s elderly population with carefully designed health programs.

Plumbers and Pipefitters (Local 51) is a member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada.  The organization was formed by the consolidation of four locals from Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Tall Ships Rhode Island is a highly regarded non-profit 501c 3, founded in 1992, that has effectively managed three world-class Tall Ships events in Rhode Island within the past 10 years. Tall Ships Rhode Island seeks to direct its collective expertise in experiential sail training and professional marine trades certificate programs, financial management and marketing, and organization-building skills; to reconfigure and complete the building of an ocean-going, historically-inspired vessel, The Oliver Hazard Perry; and to serve as a meaningful educational/professional training platform and cultural opportunity for Rhode Island's youth and for all citizens. United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW or Local 328) is the result of the 1979 merger of the Retail Clerks and the Amalgamated Meat Cutters. Presently UFCW Local 328 represents approximately 12,000 members making us the largest local union in Southeastern New England. UFCW represents workers in retail food service, banking, transportation, manufacturing, health care, barbers & cosmetology and recycling.  Over the past five years, UFCW has continually worked to negotiate the best contracts in the core industry of retail food, and has developed an organizing mentality that has kept them negotiating "first contracts" for their newly organized workers. Through the continued commitment to both long-standing and newly organized members, UFCW Local 328 continues to adhere to its guiding vision. Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, a non-profit organization founded in 1884, is dedicated to maintaining and improving the health and well being of women and infants in Rhode Island and southeastern New England, regardless of ability to pay. Women & Infants offers a full range of women's health services including, but not limited to, treatment of cancers unique to women, internal medicine, urogynecology, treatment of infertility, behavioral medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, an infant development center, and a postpartum depression day hospital (the only one of its kind in the nation). Last year, in a state that has no public or charity hospital, Women & Infants provided close to $18 million in free and uncompensated care to those in need.
