Jeffrey Taylor
Vice Chairman
Jeff has held a number of positions in the public and private sectors before becoming the Vice Chairman of the Mayforth Group. His strong public policy focus, combined with his years of experience in advocating for major non-profit entities and some of Rhode Island’s largest private companies makes him one of the most versatile advocate in the government relations sector.
He began his entry into the business of politics and public service over 15 years ago as a policy assistant in the Rhode Island State Senate and later served as the Director of Legislation and Policy for Lieutenant Governor Charles J. Fogarty. Jeff was recruited away from the public sector to become the Director of Government Relations for Rhode Island’s largest health insurer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island. He served in that capacity for just about four years after which he moved on to become the Managing Director of Government Relations for the public affairs firm Advocacy Solutions before coming to work at the Mayforth Group.
Jeff is very active in several community organizations and is the former President of the Board of Directors for the Pawtucket Child Development Center. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University in 1994 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School in 2002. He currently resides in Warwick, RI with his wife Erin and three children.
